Former Forsyth City Councilman Fired from County Job
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former Forsyth city council man Desi Hansford is out of office and now out of a job.
The Monroe County Board of Commissioners voted three to two Tuesday night in favor of firing Hansford as the county’s sports director.
Chairman Mike Bilderback and Commission Larry Evens voted against Hansford’s termination.
Hansford was hired in 2000. In March, he was arrested and charged with bribery for accepting money for city bids.
