UPDATE: Victim in Adams Avenue Shooting Dies
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One of the three people shot on Adams Avenue died Saturday afternoon.
According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, the victim, Brandon Jordan, died from a gunshot wound he sustained Tuesday night.
According to police, when they arrived at the 2300 block of Adams Avenue Tuesday, one person was shot in the abdomen and another person was shot in the head. The third victim was treated after driving himself to the hospital.
On Thursday, the suspected shooter, 42-year-old Keith Jackson turned himself in. At that time Jackson was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated battery and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No word yet on if those charges will be upgraded.
