Harlem Globetrotter Promotes Anti-Bullying at Ingram-Pye

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Students at Ingram-Pye Elementary received a surprise visit from Harlem Globetrotter “Flight Time” Lang Monday.

Lang stopped by the school to promote the organization’s anti-bullying program called, “The ABCs of Bullying Prevention.” It is an interactive program focusing on action, bravery, and compassion.

“It’s a program we came up with late last year after teaming up with the National Campaign to Stop Violence and the message is try to give kids an idea on how to prevent bullying or reasons why they shouldn’t be bullies,” said Lang.

In addition to learning various ways on how to handle bullying, the students also enjoyed signature moves performed by Lang.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be at the Macon Centreplex, Wednesday March 13 at 7P.M.
