Hawkinsville Parents Praying Missing Daughter Will Come Home

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The GBI is continuing to chase down leads in the search for the Hawkinsville teen who’s been missing for more than a week now.

The Conner’s home is filled with family memories, memories Angela and Wesley say they’re not done making.

“We are just praying and believing she is going to show up unharmed, and we’ll enjoy life together, for many years,” said Wesley Conner.

Their daughter, 15-year-old Madison Conner left their home sometime after midnight on Saturday February 23rd. She hasn’t been heard from since then.

“She knows that we have her back, and that we love her no matter what, and all we would do is just hug and love her,” cried her mother, Angela.

The Conners don’t know much about their daughter’s disappearance, but Angela believes Madison may have left home with a stranger.

“We spoke with many of her friends that at first maybe didn’t tell us everything and then came back later, and said she had mentioned that she had met someone on a chat-room, or on the internet,” said Angela.

Other than that information, they hit a dead end.

“No name, no car, not really even a place,” said Angela.

Eve Rodgers is an assistant special agent with the Eastman GBI. She says the agency is aggressively pursuing leads in and out of state, but the search continues for the little girl who Angela says tried every sport you could imagine as a kid.

“This is her doing cross country in 8th grade,” said Angela, as she pointed to a picture of Madison.

Angela says her daughter has a creative soul.

“She’s very artistic,” said Angela.

Madison’s bedroom is lined with her own artwork, a talent, she’s won awards for.

“She wants to go to cosmetology school. She wants to be an artist,” Angela told 41NBC.

It’s a talent Wesley and Angela say, they can’t wait to help her turn into a future when their little girl comes home.

“We’ll do whatever we can to help you,” said Angela.

The Conners also want to thank the Hawkinsville community for the overwhelming support during this difficult time. With the help of donations, the family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Madison’s location.

Madison is about 5’10” tall and weighs around 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and dark auburn hair,
with braces and spiral gauge ear piercings. She’ll be 16-years-old this week.
