Macon Police Respond To Domestic Dispute On East Side

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police responded to a call on Macon’s east side of a domestic dispute, and found a woman unconscious laying on the floor.

It happened Wednesday morning shortly before 8:00 on Tuxedo Road. According to a news release from the department, the suspect, 22 year-old Kierra Lashon Thomas was shaking her two year-old daughter when the victim’s son tried to step in to stop Thomas. Police allege while that happened, Thomas kicked the 56 year-old female victim in the stomach and hit her in the head to knock her out.

Thomas was charged with aggravated assault and has a bond set at $16,700.

The female victim was taken to the Medical Center.
