Baldwin Co. Deputies Still Searching for Armed Robbers
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Baldwin County deputies are still looking for the father and son duo who robbed a couple at gunpoint and then bound them with duct tape.
Captain Brad King tells 41 NBC it happened at a mobile home community off Sinclair Marina Road on January 22. Now just over three weeks later, deputies are following leads to find the men responsible.
Deputies say father and son, Joseph Walter Pagan (pictured top) and Joseph Lee Pagan (pictured bottom), broke into the home along with a third suspect, Tommy Register .They were armed with a gun, knife, and metal pipe. King says there was a man and woman inside the home at the time. The suspects stole their cellphones and $300. They then bound the couple with duct tape and took off.
Daniel Biddy lives in the same neighborhood. He says he’s never seen anything like this before and hopes the suspects get caught soon.
“I’m sure the cops will do their job and eventually get them and hopefully very soon so nobody, innocent people won’t have to deal with that stuff ever again,” Biddy said.
One victim went to the hospital for treatment. The sheriff’s office impounded the Pagan’s car. King says the third suspect was arrested and is currently booked in the Baldwin County jail.
Investigators are out in full force looking for the Pagans. They’re following leads, investigating community tips, and they hope to catch them soon.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (478) 445-4891.
