2 Macon Officers Arrested for Theft
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two Macon police officers are arrested for stealing firearms.
26 year old Jonathan Graves is in jail after police say he stole a firearm recovered in an investigation, reported it lost, and then gave it to someone else as a gift. He’s charged with fiduciary and violation of oath of office.
27-year-old Adolphus Jones was arrested after he also reportedly stole a firearm from an apartment, shot it, then threw it away back in August. He is also charged with fiduciary theft and violation of oath of office.
Both officers are still in jail and have resigned pending a 5-day termination.
