Forsyth’s Rose Theatre Holding Auditions for ‘The Sound of Music’

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Rose Theatre in Forsyth is inviting you to fill your heart with the sound of music in May, and they need actors and actresses who can help bring Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical to life on stage.

Assistant Director Alan Ralph joined Andrew Reeser on the 41NBC News at 6 Friday, to talk about the timelessness of The Sound of Music and how you can be a part of the latest production in Middle Georgia.

The Backlot Players are looking for 7 women, 5 girls, 4 men, 2 boys, and a large singing/dancing chorus for the play. Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, February 11th and 12th, 2013 at 7pm at the Rose Theatre in Forsyth at 23 W. Johnson Street.

Ralph has directed numerous productions at the Rose Theatre, including Fiddler on the Roof and The King and I.
