Atlanta Braves Stop in Warner Robins for Meet and Greet

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Atlanta Braves Country Caravan made it’s last stop in Warner Robins before the start of spring training.

Atlanta Braves Ryan Klesko, Phil Niekro, David Hale, Eddie Perez and Greg Walker signed autographs and took pictures at Academy Sports on Watson Boulevard. The caravan is a way for former and current players to meet and greet before returning to the field. Former Braves player and Baseball Hall of famer Phil Niekro never gets tired of catching up with fans.

“It’s nice to know that there are still fans out there that remember us guys that played 20 or 30 years ago,” Niekro said.

Spring starts mid February. The Braves first game of the season is against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 1.
