Dublin Police Investigating Homicide

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Dublin Police are investigating an armed robbery that turned fatal Sunday morning.

Lieutenant Greg Dominy says around 12 am Sunday, three suspects entered the home of Dewight Scott with guns. They robbed Scott, then one of the suspects shot him in the chest. Scott died from the wound.

Police arrested two people of interest. Nathan Gundy and Greg Range were arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm of a convicted felon. The charges are unrelated to the incident that happened Sunday.

Dominy says the GBI is involved in the investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Dublin Police Department at (478) 277-5023.
