Man Arrested in Connection with Gym Shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police arrest a suspect in connection with a shooting that took place this past Monday.

According to a MPD news release, 17-year-old Denyke Glenn was taken into custody Thursday night around 10:00pm. After he was questioned at the Detective Bureau, Glenn was transported to the Bibb County LEC.

The suspect had been sought in connection with a shooting that occurred January 28th at the Memorial Gym, located on 763 Long Street.

Glenn has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Criminal Street Gang Activity.
