Baldwin Coroner: Baby’s Cause of Death was Asphyxiation by Drowning
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Baldwin County Coroner John Gonzalez says a baby that was found dead in a backyard in October died of “asphyxiation by drowning.”
Gonzalez tells us further details are pending investigation.
Sheriff Bill Massee tells 41NBC he expects to meet with the assistant district attorney about the autopsy results by Thursday to decide whether to press additional charges against Brittany Palmer.
Palmer admitted to investigators in October she gave birth to a baby girl and then buried it in her parents’ backyard.
