Macon-Bibb Fire Fighters Tackle Two-Acre Brush Fire

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Right off Interstate 16 on Ocmulgee East Boulevard, Macon-Bibb fire crews spent hours Sunday afternoon battling a two-acre brush fire.

41 NBC was first on the scene when the blaze began just after 1:30 p.m. Sunday. According to officials, the fire is under control. Georgia Forestry workers cut a break to prevent any further damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
