Houston Co. Schools Open Registration Center
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County school district is making it easier for parents to register their kids for school.
The Central Registration office opened its doors for the first time Monday. It offers “one stop shopping” for families to get their kids ready for school.
Instead of registering students at each individual school, parents can go to the Central Registration office to fill out all the necessary paperwork. School officials say coming to one location is easier for parents and their students.
“They can get all their paperwork completed here and that way when they go to the school, they’ll be able to just get in the classroom and meet the teacher and have a shortened time experience at the school level,” Valerie Noah, secretary for Central Registration, said.
Noah says it usually takes about 30 minutes to register your student. You’ll need identification, your child’s birth certificate, two proofs of residency, your social security card, and the ear, eye and dental screening form.
The Central Registration office is open all year round from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s located at 303 South Davis Drive in Warner Robins. Click here for more information.
