Robins Airman Sentenced to Life in Whiskey River Shooting
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Robins airman was sentenced to life in prison for the shooting death at a Macon nightclub.
Steven Holsey, a member of the 689th Combat Communications Wing, plead quilty to fatally shooting 20-year-old Anthony Harris outside of the Whiskey River in July 2011.
Macon Police believe the two men got into an argument on the dance floor and took it outside, and that’s where the shooting occurred.
The Air Force was granted jurisdiction over the case and Holsey was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 40 years. He is now in the Houston County Law Enforcement Center.
