MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations are interviewing witnesses as they continue to investigate the fatal police-involved shooting at Kroger.
Rodney Wall with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations said the GBI is currently working to “fill in the gaps” from the Macon Police Department’s investigation.
Macon Police Officer Clayton Sutton shot and killed Sammie Davis Jr. outside of Kroger on December 21.
As the GBI continues it’s investigation into the shooting, is also looking into its own witnesses. Wall said he’s not sure how long the investigation will take.
