Macon Woman Hit By SUV Dies in Hospital

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon woman hit by a car two weeks ago died Tuesday in the hospital.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, 40-year-old Stacey Walker died at 12:52 p.m. In ICU at the Medical Center of Central Georgia from multiple blunt force injuries.

Walker was hit by an SUV on the 1200 block of Eisenhower Parkway on December 22 and the vehicle drove away.

Macon police are still investigating the incident.
