Byron Church to Host Prayer Vigil Saturday Night for Connecticut Shooting Victims and Families

BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Harvest Church in Bryon is planning to hold a prayer vigil and service Saturday night in honor of those killed in Friday morning’s school shooting massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.

Will Perez with the church tells 41 NBC that Pastor Jim Cowart felt led to hold the service as a comfort to the middle Georgia community, and to lift up in prayer those hurting in Connecticut.

Harvest Church is located at 3322 U.S. Highway 41 North in Byron.
