One Person Shot During Home Invasion at Crystal Lake Apartments

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police confirm that one person was shot during a home invasion at Crystal Lake apartments.

The home invasion happened Sunday around 6 a.m., just one hour after a triple shooting happened at a Waffle House on the same block. According to police, two men, dressed in all black, kicked in the door of an apartment. The intruders ordered the person inside to the ground and shot the victim in the leg.

After the shooting the two men fled on foot. According to the victim no items were taken. MPD did not say if the home invasion and shooting at the Waffle House are related.
