Bibb Sheriff to Discuss Big Drug Bust

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Bibb County Sheriff Jerry Modena is planning to discuss a big drug bust with reporters Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators confiscated 60 pounds of marijuana as it was being shipped to a Bibb County resident, according to the statement from Modena announcing the news conference.  When the shipping container was opened, they found three boxes with $270,000 worth of marijuana inside.

Two Macon men — Fredrick Card of 661 Ormond Terrace and Deunte Stewart of 441 Pinedale Drive– are in jail and are charged with marijuana trafficking.
