More Road Closures Around Medical Center As Construction Continues
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you drive through downtown, you may still see some road closures around the Medical Center.
Phase two of the construction kicked off Monday at the intersection of New and Pine streets. The construction is going on right in front of the emergency center. The area will be repaved and the four crosswalks will be rebuilt.
The SPLOST, hospital, and grant funds are paying for the project.
Hospital officials expect the entire project to be completed by February.
