Blind Wine Tasting Event to Support Jay’s Hope
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Local organization, Jay’s Hope is gearing up for it’s annual Bind Wine Tasting event. Teams will get the opportunity to judge and taste a variety of wine for a good cause. The extravaganza will help support the organization’s mission to help the families of children who are battling cancer.
During the Blind Wine Tasting, teams of four will bring in four bottles of wine in hopes that one of their bottles will accrue the most votes. According to a news release, the team that gets the most votes will win close to 20 bottles of wine. The organization is welcoming individual tasters to the event.
Other events include a wine raffle and a dessert bar. Gringo Grande will be there providing music.
The event is Thursday at 7:30 at the Blacksmith Shop located in Downtown Macon.
