Air Force Reserve Band Gearing Up for Holiday Concert

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Air Force Reserve Band is kicking off the holiday season with its free annual holiday concert.

The Emmy-nominated band will perform at the Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 6 at 7p.m. at the Museum of Aviation. The 43-piece concert band will play a variety of festive songs, including classics like “Frosty the Snowman” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” among other Christmas favorites.

Band officials say they love performing for the community during the holidays because this is their chance to give back to the people who support them all year long.

“What better way to get Middle Georgia started in the Christmas spirit than by us being able to say thank you to the Middle Georgia community for their wonderful support of the 70,000 men and women of the air force reserve command, wherever they are around the world,” Master Sergeant William Granger, the band superintendent, said. “We couldn’t do what we do without their support.

Doors for the free concert open at 6 p.m. and seating is limited. Band leaders say if you plan to attend, you should get there early because seats fill up fast.
