Northeast High Seniors Prepping for College

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Seniors at Northeast High School are getting ready for college!

As part of college week, the senior class spent the day applying to colleges and universities of their choice. Majority of the 140 seniors sent out their applications using Georgia College 411.

Teachers and advisers were on hand to help the students with the process. School officials say this is the first time they’ve ever dedicated a whole day to helping students with their college applications.

“This really helped me, set me down and just really let me do it at my own pace and it really gave me a little insight on what I’m looking for and what things I need to so I can be ready to go to college,” senior Jontae Nash said.

Seniors applied to at least one college of their choice. School officials wanted to help students start the process early this year.
