Macon Shoppers Lined Up at Best Buy for Black Friday Door-Busters
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon residents aren’t playing around when it comes to Black Friday.
Around 9 this morning, people were already lining up outside of Best Buy and pitching tents to camp out until 12am Friday. That’s when the store opens for its annual doorbuster deals.
James Albert is the second person in line. He and his wife have been camping out early for 8 years. He says it’s become an annual tradition that’s worth the wait.
He’s hoping to snag a laptop for about $350 for his granddaughter, and a 40-inch LCD flat screen television for his mother that’s priced under $200.
The quantity of products is limited. That’s why Albert says it’s so important to be one of the first in the store so you have the best shot of walking away with what you want.
