PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Fort Valley man charged with felony murder for a fatal fight pleaded not guilty in Houston County Superior Court Wednesday.
45-year-old Robert Lee Gill is charged with three counts of murder, and one count each of aggravated assault and battery.
According to Warner Robins Police, back in June, Gill hit 41-year-old Terry Lynn Carson in the head with a piece of wood.
Gill’s attorney Nick White says the fight started with a verbal altercation between Gill and Carson on Robins Air Force Base where the two men worked.
After work they re-located and a group of people watched as the two got physical, but Wwhite says, his client didn’t start the fight.
