Voters from Laurens, Treutlen, and Wheeler Weigh in on Anderson vs. Barrow TV Ads

SOPERTON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Voters all over Georgia’s 12th Congressional district have seen the television ads put out by both Lee Anderson, and Congressman John Barrow.

Wheeler County resident, Tommy Anderson says this year the candidates for Georgia’s 12th District have gone a little too far.

“I think it’s the nastiest campaign climate we’ve ever had,” says Anderson.

He’s not alone. Treutlen County resident, Curtis Dunn, called the ads dirty. Tamika Shivers says she’s tired of seeing the mud-slinging over the airwaves.

“The ‘bromance’ thing, that’s just something totally out there,” says Shivers.
