First Court Appearance for Bibb County Couple Accused of Killing Toddler

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The father and stepmother charged with murdering a toddler had their first court appearance Friday afternoon.

Antwon Davis, 20, and Amanda Davis, 36, are charged with felony murder in the death of Antwon’s 18-month-old daughter Breazia Davis.

Judge Jane Reeves denied the couple bond and both Antwon and Amanda declined a commitment hearing.

On Wednesday, Breazia was found unconscious and taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she later died. Investigators say arrests came after evidence pointed to the two in connection to the child’s death. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
