Macon Police Investigate Shooting at Sports Bar

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Police Department is investigating after one person was shot outside of a sports bar.

It happened Saturday morning at the Z-2 Sports Bar and Grill on Williamson Road.

According to MPD, witnesses reported that about three or four vehicles pulled up in the parking lot when they heard gunfire. A 38-year-old male was shot in the pelvis. He was transported to the Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said it was initially reported that there were two victims. However, one person was hit by glass and not a bullet. He was treated and later released.
