Macon Private School Under Investigation

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A local private school is under investigation “concerning potential employee issues.”

Several parents reached out to 41NBC with concerns regarding the background of the owners of Progressive Christian Academy.

We contacted the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and received the following statement from Reg Griffin: “The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning is currently conducting an investigation into Progressive Christian Academy in Macon concerning potential employee issues. Because this is an open investigation, we cannot comment further at this time. It is important to note that an investigation does not necessarily mean that any violations have occurred. At DECAL, our top priority is the health and safety of our state’s young learners, ages birth to five years old.”

Progressive Christian Academy is located at 151 Madison Street Macon, GA 31201.
