Two Men Arrested in Houston County in Connection with a Residential Burglary
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men were arrested Tuesday by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a residential burglary that happened on Peachtree Blvd.
It was reported that a suspect was seeing fleeing from the back of the residence after the homeowner returned to the house. Arriving officers cleared the home, then found evidence of forced entry as well as missing property. Canine units were deployed to assist in the search for the suspect in the surrounding area.
A suspicious vehicle occupied by three individuals was eventually located. After further investigation, two of the subjects were arrested.
31-year-old Donald Glenn Gauthier, and 25-year-old Benjamin Salter, Jr. were charged each with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary. Gauthier was also charged with Cruelty to Animals after it was determined he had tried to poison the homeowner’s dog.
Both men are in custody at the Houston County Detention Center.
