Georgia College Students Sell ‘Bras for a Cause’

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Throughout the month of October, Georgia College students and The GIVE Center will honor Baldwin County breast cancer survivors in the Third Annual “Survivors in Pink” event.

The fundraiser, “Bras for a Cause” is not only raising awareness, but it’s grabbing plenty of attention too. 41 NBC’s Daybreak anchor Melissa Lee sat down with Helen Gaillet and got a look at some unmentionables and a new twist on fundraising.

Thursday, October 18th is the entry deadline for the contest. The bedazzled bra designs will be on display starting October 22nd through October 25th at the campus. For more information, email Survivorsinpink@gmail.com.
