Man Falls From Telephone Pole

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- A Cox Cable contractor is recovering this afternoon after falling from a telephone pole. It happened around 11:00am on Matthews Place in North Macon. According to Macon Police, a passing car hit the wire knocking the worker to the ground.

The contractor fell about 25 feet to the ground while trying to install cable. Witnesses said the man was conscious while being taken to the hospital. There is no word yet on his condition.
