Teacher Confiscates Knife from Student at Rutland High School

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County School teacher confiscated a pocket knife from a 17-year-old female student at Rutland High School Friday morning.

A news release from Bibb County Schools says the student dropped the pocket knife during a class change. The teacher escorted the student to the office after retrieving the knife.

The student was suspended pending a hearing. Campus POlice will speak with the Bibb County District Attorney’s Office about further action in the incident.
