Teacher Cut During Fight at Rutland High School

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A teacher walked away with a laceration after trying to break up a fight between two students at Rutland High School Friday morning.

It happened around 11:30. Josephine Bennett with Bibb County Schools tells 41NBC the cut only required a Band-Aid.

The student who officials say started the fight is charged with Simple Battery on a School Employee and Disruption of a Public School.
