International City Festival Draws Crowd, More Vendors

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 2nd International City Fall Festival brought a larger crowd and more vendors than last year. International City Fall Festival Chair Gena DeBoe estimated at least a thousand people stopped by this year’s event.

“We’re so thrilled for the turnout and want to thank our vendors and everyone who has supported us,” DeBoe said.

The festival featured live music, vendors and food. DeBoe said the goal is to bring the community together and raise awareness on the need for renovation.

“Everything we are doing is going towards revitalizing downtown,” DeBoe said.

DeBoe believes one of the reasons for this year’s turnout is the expanded kid’s area, more vendors and word of mouth. Colby Dee, a Georgia Native and Nashville country singer headlined the event.

“We are so excited about the headliner and we hope Colby Dee returns next year,” DeBoe said.

The theme for the International City Fall Festival is “Remember Yesterday, Celebrating Tomorrow”.
