United Way of Central Georgia Announces Campaign Goal

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The United Way of Central Georgia officially kicked off its campaign Thursday morning, with the announcement of wanting to raise $4.25 million in its fundraiser. 

The organization’s fundraiser is an effort to spread the money to more than 30 other non-profit middle Georgia organizations.

The campaign started off with a breakfast at the Edgar H. Wilson Convention Center in downtown Macon.

Campaign Chair Dan Forrester, said he has one hundred percent certainty that middle Georgians will step up to the plate with the four month campaign to raise the money.
