Playwright Shelton Land Presents “You Get Back, What, You Put Out”

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Renowned playwright Shelton Land stopped by Daybreak to share details on his upcoming production, “You Get Back, What, You Put Out.”

Land is an ex-felon who served more than 7 years in prison. Upon his release, he started a non-profit organization called Land Mindz. The group offers help to former offenders, recovering addicts, and the homeless. They are also the same people who make up the cast and crew of the production.

The play is Sunday, August 26 at the Cox Capitol Theatre. Showtime is at 4P.M. Proceeds benefit transitional services for under-served populations.
