Jury Selection Begins in Murder for Hire Case

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A jury has been selected in the case of the Houston County man accused of hiring someone to kill his wife.

Last February, Joni Clements was shot and killed in her Warner Robins home. Her husband James Clement is accused of hiring Richard Sybert to kill his wife in exchange for money.

James Clement’s trial is expected to begin in Houston County Superior Court on Tuesday.

District Attorney George Hartwig says the trial is expected to last a week.
