Last Day to Vote in Bibb Co. Primary Runoff and Board of Education

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Election day is here. Tuesday is your final chance to cast your vote in Georgia’s primary.

There are several races on the ballot including the democratic runoff between Georgia State Senator Miriam Paris and former State Representative David Lucas for State Senator from District 26. Both candidates are pounding the pavement on election day and asking people to go out and vote.

“We’ve got a lot of momentum, people are out voting and that’s what’s going to make this election sure,” Senator Paris said.

“Today we feel like the day is D-Day for us,” Lucas said. “We’re just hoping the people will turn out and vote in this election.”

Candidates running for the Bibb County School Board are also on the ballot.

Voters must cast their ballots at their precinct. Polls are open until 7 pm. Find your polling place here.
