Macon Man Behind Bars After Firing Shots at Wife

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is behind bars for firing shots at his wife. The incident happened Friday night around 9:30 on Virginia Avenue.

According to a news release, Macon Police arrested Joseph Ballard after discovering shell casings and a bullet in the car his wife was driving.

Two other passengers were inside of the car with Ballard’s Wife.

Ballard is charged with aggravated assault family violence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
