Annual Shred Day Event Helps Middle Georgians Destroy Sensitive Documents

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — 41 NBC teamed up with Shred Monster and Virginia College to provide free residential shredding services Saturday. The event gave Middle Georgians the opportunity to get rid of any unwanted sensitive documents like old bank statements, tax information,
and cancelled checks.

Students and staff of Virginia College also participated in the event by sharing upcoming deals on various services offered at the school.

“I’m the president of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a local non profit and we really can’t afford to pay to have our things shredded so we really appreciate when this is out here, it’s so important because we need to get rid of confidential files too,” says Dianna Glymph.
