Irving Martinez Says He Is Running For The State Senate District 26 Seat

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Writer, poet, and self proclaimed Internet Visionary, Irving Martinez announced he’s running for the State Senate District 26 seat. The seat is currently held by Miriam Paris. This afternoon Martinez told supports why he’s running for the position. Martinez says change in needed in Macon.

“I’m not going to run a dirty campaign. I’m not going to get people on what they didn’t do or whatever. They have done a lot of good for our city. What I want to do is build on their accomplishments, said Martinez.

During the news conference Martinez also talked about his recent arrest involving a probation violation, and apologized for his past mistakes.
