MPD Search for Suspects in Gas Station Robbery; Clerk Shot

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police in Macon are investigating tonight after two men tried to rob a gas station, and one of them shot the cashier.

It happened at the Sunrise Store Citgo on Mercer University Drive. Police say the two men walked in the store and tried to take the cash register. That’s when one of them fired a shot hitting a cashier. He was taken to the medical center. Both suspects got away.
