Macon Police Release Photos of Shooting & Robbery Suspects
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police remain on the hunt for two men wanted for a Tuesday evening armed robbery. Investigators released photos and descriptions of the suspects today.
Police say one man stood as a lookout, as the other went into the Sunrise Citgo Store, at 3750 Mercer University Drive, with a gun, tried to take the cash register, and shot the cashier. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
They then ran away, last seen headed across Mercer University Drive toward North Atwood Drive.

e suspect was wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt, gray shorts, and black athletic shoes with gray stocking cap over his face. The other was wearing a gray shirt and what appears to be gray pants, a printed blue bandana over his face, and what appears to be a light turquoise cap over his head.
