New Leader Named for Robins AFB, Israel to Retire

Cedric GeorgeWARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Air Force has announced who will take over as commander of the new Air Logistics Complex at Robins Air Force Base.

He’s Brigadier General (sel.) Cedric George.  George is currently the Commander of the 76th Maintenance Wing, at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, at Tinker Air Force Base.  He will take over the top position at Robins this summer, as the Air Force reorganizes the Materiel Command structure.

Also, the Air Force announced that Deryl Israel will retire next month.  He’s the executive director at the ALC in Warner Robins.  As one of the top civilian employees at the base, he’s leaving after 35 years of service to the Air Force.
