Macon Man Arrested for Cutting Woman’s Throat with a Box Cutter

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man faces charges for attacking someone who tried to help him.  A woman told police that Arthur Jordan attacked her Monday as she and another man tried to help him into his house on Moore Court.  Jordan was apparently intoxicated at the time.

She told police, as she unlocked his door, Jordan grabbed her hair and cut her throat with a box cutter.  He then pushed her inside the house.

Jordan is charged with aggravated assault and was taken to the Bibb County Jail.
