Warner Robins Company Offering FREE Removal of Junk Cars

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- For the month of April Keep Warner Robins Beautiful is teaming up with Warner Robins Wrecker and Towing Service to take run-down cars off your hands for free.

“Sometimes you just have an old car that doesn’t run, and you don’t want to pay a towing fee,” says Executive Director of Keep Warner Robins Beautiful, Debra Jones.

The Chunk-A-Junk program started years ago and the popularity is helping Warner Robins Wreckers help you.

Jones says, “They’ll pull off the parts they can use…recycle the metals they can save.”

Warner Robins Wrecker Services will take just about anything. “RVs, boats, trailers, pick-up trucks, cars, whatever you got,” says Jones.

Jones also adds, “If it doesn’t have wheels they’ll bring a flat bed and get that for you too.”

According to Jones, the run-down cars are not only eyesores they are also dangerous. “There’s broken glass. There are leaky lubricants. All kinds of health hazards involved.”
