Paddlers Gear Up For Heart of the Dragon Boat Race

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Paddlers and Boaters alike tested the waters of Lake Tobesofkee Thursday to prepare for the Heart of the Dragon Festival race that benefits Macon’s Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The calm waters of Lake Tobesofkee quickly transform with the cadenced power of 20 paddlers.

“From the outside looking in you can’t tell how tough it really is, but once you get out there and get to rowing it is very tough,” said Trayvon Leslie of Macon.
