RDA Working on Tax Allocation Districts to Pump Money Back into Warner Robins
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins Redevelopment Agency is working to get business tax dollars pumped back into the city.
Council heard a proposal from the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, the group helping create Tax Allocation Districts for Warner Robins. In these districts, business owners who pay taxes on land and buildings would see some of that money go right back into their commercial area through infrastructure improvements.
Executive Director of the RDA, Gary lee, says the goal is attract new businesses in areas undergoing redevelopment.
